The orthosis for lifting the foot of a patient has an L-shaped elastic frame with one branch connected to the foot and the other connected to a strap (15) extending around the calf. The frame has two wires (1,2) positioned on opposing sides of the limb. The lower branches of the wires are connected to a membrane resting on top of the foot.
