The bottle carrier has pressure strips (20',20'') protected from perforation and a strengthening wall (31) with a middle section and two side parts (32,33) which are linked to the long sides of the middle section. The forces in the grip section (34) are radiated via the fork-shaped end section (36,37). The load of potentially damaging forces is reduced and the stability is increased. The fork-shaped end section can be gripped in the intermediate area between the neighboring bottle necks so that the grip can be raised and the carrying comfort is increased.
