NUCLEIC ACID FRAGMENT, NUCLEIC ACID FRAGMENT FOR DETECTING ANAMOX BACTERIUM, PRIMER, PROBE, METHOD FOR DETECTING ANAMOX BACTERIUM, AND METHOD FOR TREATING AMMONIACAL NITROGEN-CONTAINING WASTE FLUID
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and useful nucleic acid sequence which can be utilized for detecting an anamox bacterium and preferentially hybridizes with the 16SrRNA or rDNA of the anamox bacterium, to provide a primer, to provide a probe for detecting the anamox bacterium, to provide a method for highly accurately detecting the anamox bacterium, and to provide a method for highly efficiently treating an ammoniacal nitrogen-containing waste fluid.;SOLUTION: This method for detecting the anamox bacterium comprises performing a PCR (polymerase chain reaction) using a base sequence characteristic to the anamox bacterium, a base sequence having a homology of ≥90% based on the homology of the base sequence, a nucleic acid fragment having a complementary base sequence, a nucleic acid fragment in which an at least ten continuous base sequence is the same base sequence as a base sequence characteristic to the anamox bacterium, a nucleic acid fragment having a base sequence complementary to the nucleic acid fragments or a probe, as a primer, and further using a nucleic acid in a sample as a template, and then detecting the synthesized nucleic acid fragment.
