PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extendible bell-shaped propulsion nozzle.;SOLUTION: The bell-shaped propulsion nozzle includes a first part with a small diameter disposed to be fixed on a rocket propulsion engine, and a second part with a large diameter disposed so as to move to the first part. In a front loading position I, the second part is near a rocket propulsion engine so as to surround the first part. In a rear operating position II, the extendible bell-shaped propulsion nozzle for the rocket propulsion mechanism is arranged so as to continue to the first part and further separate from the rocket propulsion engine, provided with a closed volume portion, causes extension of the second part of the bell-shaped propulsion nozzle from the loading position I to the operating position II while increasing volume when supplying gaseous fluid. The closed volume portion capable of supplying the gaseous fluid is formed by a deformable roll bellows device coupled between the movably arranged second part of the bell-shaped propulsion nozzle and a fixed portion of the rocket propulsion mechanism or an aircraft or a spaceship.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
