PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood flow circulation auxiliary device capable of detecting the blood circulation state in a living body without any special sensor, and performing good circulation auxiliary works suitable for the blood circulation state of the living body. PSOLUTION: The blood flow circulation auxiliary device, having a continuous flow blood pump 1, a blood removal vessel 2 and a blood sending vessel 3, is designed to drive blood with the pump. It is also provided with a flow rate detection means 7 for obtaining the information on the flow rate running through the pump, a flow rate amplitude detection means 8 for outputting the flow rate amplitude of the difference between the maximum and minimum output values of the flow rate detecting means at specified intervals, and a control means 5 which changes the number of revolutions of a pump drive motor in a specified range, and controls the motor in a way that, based on the variations in the flow rate amplitude caused by the change, it detects at least either one of (t) point where the auxiliary circulation formed by the pump shifts to full assistance from partial assistance, or (s) point where the fluctuation of the flow rate amplitude becomes remarkable when the blood inlet of the blood removal vessel 2 begins to stick to the wall of the living body, so that the motor revolutions become relative to those corresponding to the detected (t) or (s) point.
