PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to an improvement in fuel economy and reduction in cost by reducing a shock in restarting even if a hydraulic pressure generating electric pump is not arranged by supplying fuel to an engine after determining that a frictional engaging element engages. PSOLUTION: For this purpose, an automatic stopping/starting control device for an engine has an engine, a motor generator for driving the engine and an automatic transmission, and can stop or start the engine without operating an ignition key, and is provided with a control means for starting fuel supply to the engine when determining that the frictional engaging element of the automatic transmission engages after driving and starting the engine by the motor generator when starting the engine without operating the ignition key.
