FUSIBLE ALLOY FOR TEMPERATURE FUSE, WIRE ROD FOR TEMPERATURE FUSE, AND TEMPERATURE FUSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature fuse having a Cd-free fusible alloy with a melting temperature of 140°C to 150°C, a wire rod composed of the fusible alloy having a melting temperature of 140°C to 150°C, and a temperature fuse element composed of the wire rod having an operation temperature of 140°C to 150°C.;SOLUTION: The fusible alloy for the temperature fuse contains indium by 17 mass% to 22 mass% and lead by 24 mass% to 28 mass%, and the balance is composed of tin and inevitable impurities. The fusible alloy does not contain Cd. Therefore, the influence given to the natural environment is very small even if the temperature fuse using the fusible alloy is discarded. The fusible alloy having the above compositional range has the melting temperature of 140°C to 150°C as same as a conventional fusible alloy containing Cd.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
