HEALTH FOOD CONTAINING GALL BLADDER OF ANIMAL AS MAIN RAW MATERIAL, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a health food containing the gall bladder of an animal having effects for the protection of health by drying the gall bladder of the animal in a shorter period as possible without heating the gall bladder to high temperature.;SOLUTION: The gall bladder of the animal is washed with an aqueous ethanol solution [including Shochu (white distilled liquor)] to disinfect and sterilize the gall bladder, and the washed gall bladder is hung in a drier by binding the tip part of the gall bladder with a thread or a string. The hung gall bladder is dried by flowing air at ≤40°C, and about 1 cc of an alcohol per gall bladder is injected to the gall bladder when being dried to some degree. The resultant gall bladder is dried again at ≤40°C so that the weight may be about 20 % of the mass at the initial time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
