PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a free-flow electrophoretic element capable of realizing a stable pH gradient without using an amphoteric carrier, and a free-flow isoelectric point electrophoretic method using the same.;SOLUTION: In this free-flow electrophoretic element 10 for separating and fractionating a sample while injecting the sample and a buffer solution continuously into an electrophoretic vessel 23 constituted by combining two sheets of plates, at least one face, in an electrophoretic vessel side, of the two sheets of plates constituting the electrophoretic vessel is constituted of an amphoteric polymer bonded with an acid and a base. Stable pH control is realized by this constitution, since pH in the electrophoretic vessel 23 is controlled by the amphoteric polymer constituting an electrophoretic vessel wall face, and a contaminant disturbing secondary analysis is precluded from being contaminated, because using no amphoteric carrier.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
