PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watering material for seedlings, capable of keeping/transporting the seedlings such as seedling-growing pots as the state of healthy seedlings, also gentle to environment and excellent in working property of handling.;SOLUTION: This watering material for seedling for supplying water to the seedlings in growing is provided by using a philosilicate salt clay mineral having swelling property such as a smectite-based clay mineral. For example, the clay mineral is put into a watering container by dispersing or dissolving the mineral with water and the seedling-growing pot may be loaded on the water-feeding container. Also, the clay mineral may be used as powder, and spread over the surface layer part of medium material in the seedling-growing pot or mixed with the medium material in the seedling-growing pot.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
