PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply method in a bentonite filled water barrier mat construction method capable of perfectly swelling bentonite in a water barrier mat after the water barrier mat is formed to rapidly form a uniform and continuous soil water barrier layer.;SOLUTION: A bag body 24a, which comprises water permeable fabrics of which the peripheries are closed, is laid on a water barrier execution surface and filled with a bentonite granular material or a mixture 26 of this granular material and a soil material to form a water barrier mat 12.
