PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the magnetic permeability of a grain oriented silicon steel sheet, that is, to improve performances of a mashield or various sensors.;SOLUTION: The grain oriented silicon steel sheet is irradiated with laser beam so as to introduce strain whose degree is removed with an annealing at about 800°C, and the magnetic permeability is increased.
