PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the period and cost of construction work by making it possible to pass under a sewer age duct line without digging the ground below a buried structure such as a U-shaped gutter more than needed.;SOLUTION: A block 1 for an inverted siphon is provided with a block body 2 formed with a cross section having an integrated bottom 4 and wall sections 5 rising upward from both the right and left ends of the bottom 4, so that the block can be connected flush with a buried structure 6 under the ground; and an inverted siphon duct line 3 formed inside the block body 2 in such a way as to pass through both the inside of the bottom 4 and the inside of each wall section 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
