JOINT DEVICE FOR KNEE-ANKLE-FOOT ORTHOSIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint device for a knee-ankle-foot orthosis that enables a user of the knee-ankle-foot orthosis to move his leg smoothly when he walks.;SOLUTION: An attachment 2 is formed with a base stay 23 and a joint stay 21 hinged to the base stay 23, and has a coil spring 27 between the joint stay 21 and the base stay 23 to help the rear part of the attachment 2 remain always open. When the user wearing a knee-ankle-foot support member 3 moves his leg to walk, the base stay 23 once changes its position to move close to the joint stay 21 against the spring reactive force of the coil spring 27, and then, making a virtual pivot point of the user hip joint as a base point, the long inferior limb support member 3 moves at a designated cone angle.
