PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously take an infrared ray black/white photo and an ordinary color photo of an object under the same layout by using a conventional digital camera and to apply computer processing to imaged data to obtain a composite image of a color infrared ray photo. PSOLUTION: A color infrared ray photo taking attachment 1 is connected to the conventional digital camera (3) and an external controller 2, respectively. An infrared ray filter 11 for photographing and filter drive means 12 (121, 122) whereby the filter 11 is stood upright for use at photographing of an infrared ray photo and the filter is laid flat and contained at photographing of an ordinary color photo in a casing. The filter is automatically driven on the basis of an exposure and shutter operating procedure of the digital camera (3) depending on a control output from the external controller 2.
