PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method for a waste incinerator capable of effectively utilizing or reclaiming burned ash discharged from a waste incinerator without applying heady metal stabilization treatment thereto by chemical treatment method and without applying high temperature heating treatment, and the waste incinerator for performing the operation method.;SOLUTION: In this operation method for the waste incinerator having a stairstep fire grate, hot gas is blown from a gas blowing port 14 provided in the wall 13 of a step part between a drying fire grate 4 and a combustion fire grate 5 to a waste layer 3 on the combustion fire grate 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
