PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for producing a T-20 or T-1249 composition or a fragment composition of T-20 or T-1249 in an commercial amount. PSOLUTION: One embodiment of the method comprises using a low void space resin and/or a surface-functionalized resin which is loaded optionally by an amino acid or its derivative in order to produce one or more T-20 or T-1249 fragments. Another embodiment thereof comprises using an amino acid in an about 1.5 equivalent relative to one equivalent of a growing peptide chain. Still another embodiment comprises obtaining a higher loading efficiency of an amino acid at about 15-30 minute cycle compared with one obtained in a conventional method. Still another embodiment comprises recycling a low void space resin.
