PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel mechanism which can stably travel on a culture bed.;SOLUTION: This travel mechanism 3 is equipped with travel wheels 15 which support a frame 2 and can travel on the culture bed 11, and with right and left guide wheels 16 which elastically contact with the surfaces of both the sidewalls of the culture bed 11. The travel wheels 15 are formed to travel on the upper surfaces of both the sidewalls of the culture bed 11. The guide wheels 16 are supported on the frame 2 with support members 31 extended from the upper and outer surfaces of both the sidewalls of the culture bed 11 at distances.
