PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watch mounted with a large sized battery assembly and a confirmed in waterproof properties.;SOLUTION: In an electronic watch mounted with the large-sized battery assembly, especially, including several batteries or storage batteries (41, 42), a diameter of a removable cover (20), closing a large bottom aperture in a back cover (14) of a watch case, is limited by a fact that a bayonet fastening device having a lock part (56) is mounted and the lock part is directed radially into an interior. The lock parts are contacted with a fixed support (22) which has one or plural housings for the battery assembly. The lock parts are substantially located at the upper part of a cylindrical annulus part (50) of the cover. A sealing gasket (52) is mounted around the annulus part and is compressed radially with respect to a cylindrical surface (16) of the peripheral parts of the aperture of the back cover, and it will surely be kept in a waterproof condition, even if the bayonet fastening is not screwed completely.
