WATCH HAVING COVER OR BACK COVER HAVING BAYONET FASTENING FOR MANUAL OPENING OF WATCH CASE

PURPOSE: A watch having a cover or a back cover having bayonet fastening for manual opening of a watch case is provided to limit a size of the cover with respect to a circle circumscribed around a battery assembly. CONSTITUTION: A watch includes a case having an electronic watch movement(30) and an electric battery assembly having one or more batteries(41,42). The battery assembly is inserted into or removed from the case. The battery assembly includes a circular opening which is closed in a water-resistant manner by a removable cover(20) with bayonet fitting unit. The cover includes a plate(44), which covers one or more housings for the battery assembly and forms a part of a back cover of the case, and a substantially cylindrical annular part(50), which extends perpendicularly to the plate and fits into the circular opening. The annular part carries at least two locking members(56) for forming part of the bayonet fitting unit. A support(22) fixedly mounted in the case extends at least partially faces the circular opening. The locking members of the cover extend towards the interior of the annular portion of the cover and catch on shoulders of the support.
