PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy demand optimization system which reduces the cost of demanded energy necessary for the production of a product. PSOLUTION: The energy demand optimization system 3 reduces the cost of energy for productive equipment necessary for the production of the product and nonproductive equipment, and is provided with a data creation program 11 and a production schedule modification program 13. The data creation program 11 creates time series data 21 which serialize the amount of demanded energy. The production schedule modification program 13 modifies the production schedule of the product so as to restrain a peak appeared in the series data 21 in consideration of constraint information including an upper limit of the amount of demanded energy.
