PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproofing case for a flute in which player's lips can be applied to a mouthpiece and soundproofing effect is provided, and to provide a soundproofing method using the case. PSOLUTION: A soundproofing case B for a flute is realized by covering a flute A whole body including a head tube 4 by providing a playing port 2 on a case head section 1. A player D plays the flute A while using a listening tool C which is connected to the case B and mounted onto the flute A or the player D plays the flute A using a pair of headphones while using a sound collecting microphone 6, that is arranged on the case B which is mounted on the flute A, and using an amplifier or a receiver of an audio device.
