PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply measuring bond strength of a chemical substance to an androgen receptor.;SOLUTION: A fluorescent ligand is represented by formula (1) [wherein n is an integer of 4-8]. The method for measuring the bond strength comprises evaluating the bond strength between the androgen receptor and the sample chemical substance by measuring the amount of the fluorescent ligand binding to the androgen receptor in the coexistence of the fluorescent ligand, the androgen receptor and the sample chemical substance in a solution. The other method for measuring the bond strength comprises evaluating the bond strength between the androgen receptor and the sample chemical substance by adding the androgen receptor, the fluorescent ligand and the sample chemical substance to a solution, removing the isolated fluorescent ligand from the solution after bond of the fluorescent ligand and the chemical substance to the androgen receptor reaches equilibrium and measuring a fluorescent intensity of the solution. The isolated fluorescent ligand is separated by making the ligand adsorbed on a dextran-coated activated carbon (DCC).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
