PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating bond strength of a test chemical substance to an ecdysone receptor of a crustacea.;SOLUTION: The method for evaluating the bond strength of a chemical substance comprises evaluating the bond strength of a chemical substance to an ecdysone receptor by making a protein containing a specific amino acid sequence, a protein containing another specific amino acid sequence, a ligand and a test chemical substance exist in a solution and assaying the amount of the ligand bonded to the protein containing the former amino acid sequence.
