PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture and sample various kinds of chlorinated organic compounds of both a particulate state and a gaseous state contained in a fluid at the same time, and to easily extract the sampled chlorinated organic compounds.;SOLUTION: This sampler has a sampling filter 7 arranged inside a holder 6 having a discharge passage 12a. The sampling filter 7 is provided with a fluid-transmissive molding including fiber materials and an inorganic binding material for binding the fellow fiber materials, and a hydrophobic material held in the the molding and having an adsorptive property for the chlorinated organic compounds. The various kinds of the chlorinated organic compounds contained of both the particulate state and the gaseous state such as polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and coplaner PCB are captured and sampled when a sample gas is passed through the sampling filter 7, in the sample gas flowing from a flue 25 into the holder 6 via a sampling tube 2 and an introducing tube 8, and containing the various kinds of the chlorinated organic compounds, and the gas is discharged from the discharge passage 12a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
