PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a sampler, capable of simply and easily sampling various chlorinated organic compounds contained in a fluid in both of granular and gaseous states and capable of confirming the sampling state of the chlorinated organic compounds is a sampling process.;SOLUTION: The sampler 3 is equipped with a sampling part 30, including a sampling filter 7 and a sampling state confirming checker 31 filled with an inorganic adsorbing material 34. The sample gas, flowing in the sampling part 30 from a flue 25 via a sampling pipe 2, is passed through the sampling filter 7, while the various chlorinated organic compounds in the sample gas are sampled to be discharged through the sampling state confirming checker 31. When tar containing the chlorinated organic compounds is contained in the sample gas after the passage through the sampling filter 7, this tar discolors the inorganic adsorbing material 34. Therefore, by observing the discoloration of the inorganic adsorbing material 34, the sampling state of the chlorinated organic compounds by the sampling filter 7 can be confirmed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
