PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic line observation system, a traffic line observation method, and a traffic line observation program for observing the traffic line of a mobile unit without any interruption by precisely detecting the position of the mobile unit.;SOLUTION: The traffic line observation system 1 comprises: a receiver control section 13 for receiving transmitter information being transmitted from a plurality of receivers 20a, 20b, ..., 20e in an observation area 26, where a pedestrian 22 carrying a transmitter 21 moves, via a communication network 25; a mobile unit state retention section 15 having a state buffer for indicating the candidate of the current position of the pedestrian 22; an environment information retention section 17 having the position relation ship between detection areas, distance, and passage information; and an event processing section 16 that successively takes out mobile events, where time information is added to the receiver information, updates the state buffer using information being retained by the environment information retention section 17, and estimates the current position of the pedestrian.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
