PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical piece reproduction system or the like enabling a user to realize a musical expression desired by the user and add acoustic effects by simple operation.;SOLUTION: The musical piece reproduction system is provided with an operation terminal portable by the operator, and a personal computer system which receives movement information in accordance with the movement of an operator transmitted from the operation terminal, and performs editing or the like of existing musical piece data (MIDI data or the like) on the basis of the received movement information. When judging that an acceleration value obtained from the received movement information is over a 1st threshold value t1 and is also over a 2nd threshold value t2, the personal computer system judges that beating operation is intended, and controls reproduction of a musical piece , and on the other hand, when judging that the acceleration value is over the 1st threshold value t1 but is lower than the 2nd threshold value t2, the personal computer judges that addition of an acoustic effect is desired, and controls the acoustic effect to be added to the musical piece.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
