PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that winding becomes nonuinform to cause generation of creases.;SOLUTION: Since the edge area is previously weakened as compared with the dye transfer area in order to weaken the resistance of the edge area, the edge area is spread substantially equally to the dye transfer area when it is used in the form of donorweb in a printer. The edge area can be weakened by making holes, slits or cuts therein or by piercing. When the edge areas on the opposite sides of the transfer area being used for transferring dye in the printer is spread equally to the dye transfer area, generation of creases can be substantially reduced in next transfer area.
