PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die head cover for an extruder constituted so as to suppress fluctuations in the thickness of a film or sheet caused by fluctuations in atmospheric temperature, fluctuations in expansion ratio, or the like to stably manufacture the film or sheet high in the precision of various characteristics. PSOLUTION: The die head cover for the extruder is constituted so as to cover the outer periphery of the portion excepting the lip part of the die head fixed to the leading end part of the extruder and a heat insulating structure may be provided inside the cover. The die head cover may be formed so as to be made divisible into two or more portions.
