PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a ball-throwing order with an easy operation regardless of the distance between ball game players. PSOLUTION: At a scene in which a ball game player in a display is catching a ball, a gauge display starts while the player of this video game is pushing a button. The gauge indicator increases with a time lapse. A relay borderline and a ball-throwing borderline are arranged on the increased area according to the distance between the catching player and a player to whom the ball is thrown. If the button is released before the top of the gauge exceeds the relay borderline, the ball is controlled to go to a relaying player. If the button is released when the top of the gauge is beyond the relay borderline but before the ball-throwing borderline, the ball is controlled to go to the player to whom the ball is thrown. If the button is released when the top of the gauge is beyond the ball-throwing borderline, the ball is controlled to be thrown wild to the player to whom the ball is thrown. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
