PURPOSE: To enhance resistance against ground liquefaction by providing viscosity or coagulation ability to a peripheral ground of an existing structure in a construction environment where peripheral facilities are jammed so that it may be difficult to install or operate a largesized construction machine without affecting the execution of work adversely. ;CONSTITUTION: A plurality of paired excavation holes 2 are bored on a sand ground under an existing structure or its peripheral sand ground. A positive electrode 3 is laid out on each of paired excavated holes 2 on one hand while a negative electrode 4 is laid out on each of paired excavated holes 2 on the other hand. A liquefaction resisting agent 5, which is designed to enhance liquefaction resistance of a single solution of a high viscosity material or a ground solidification material or a mixed solution of both materials, is injected under no pressure into either one of the paired holes or both paired holes voltage is applied between the positive and negative electrodes 3 and 4 in this state, thereby penetrating statically the liquefaction resisting agent into the ground between the electrodes 3 and 4 by an electric floating action.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
