PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disaster risk evaluation system enabling an employer to properly evaluate disaster risks associated with the occurrence of disasters. PSOLUTION: The disaster risk evaluation system evaluates a difference between the amount of direct losses to a current facility in the event of a disaster and the amount of direct losses to the retrofitted facility in a disaster, and compares the difference with the cost of disaster prevention facilities, thereby presenting information on the decision-making of measures against disasters. Evaluation requirements include adding the amount of losses to business and presenting the insurance premium needed to cover the amount of losses expected in a disaster. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
