COMPOSITION FOR HEALTH FOOD PRODUCT AND HEALTH FOOD PRODUCT OR HEALTH BEVERAGE PRODUCT

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health food product and a composition for a health beverage product synergistically enhancing antioxidation activities of a ginkgo leaf extract and a pine needle extract and improving characteristic bitterness and astringency of these extracts and excellent in palatability. PSOLUTION: The problem is solved by adding young leaf powder of barley to the ginkgo leaf extract and the pine needle extract without removing cause of bitterness and astringency of the ginkgo leaf extract and the pine needle extract by processing treatment. The composition for health beverage product comprises 0.01-3 mass% ginkgo leaf extract, 0.01-3 mass% pine needle extract and 30-60 mass% barley young leaf powder. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
