PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of the detection data of the fuel pressure inside a common rail in a common rail type fuel injection device, and to improve reliability of the foundation data to be used for the engine control.;SOLUTION: When collecting the fuel pressure data inside a common rail 2 during the operation of an engine, the fuel pressure inside the common rail is detected per the rotation of a crank shaft at every 6°, and the number of cylinder, angle of a crank and the fuel pressure inside the common rail are relatively tabled and stored in a memory means 12.
