PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the differential-settlement controllable foundation structure of a structure, the cost of which is reduced, in which a differential settlement is controlled easily and which can be worked even as the foundation of the structure.;SOLUTION: A plurality of hollow columnar bodies, which are formed of an expansible and contractible material in the lower ground of the structure and filled with an incompressible fluid, are installed at intervals in a specified directionality in the sideway direction to the plane shape of the structure, the columnar bodies and a fluid supply source are made to communicate and the fluid can be made to flow in and out to and from the columnar bodies. The fluid is made to flow in and out selectively to and from a plurality of the columnar bodies in response to the quantity of the differential settlement of the structure detected by a sensor, and the differential settlement is corrected and controlled by expanding and contracting the columnar bodies.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
