PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a ligh-resistance, an image sharpness, a thermal yellowing resistance and also a durability. PSOLUTION: In a card substrate 100 having a first sheet member 101 using a base of white polyester consisting of 80 to 95% of whiteness and a second sheet member 102 to be laminated on the first sheet member 101, the first sheet member 101 has an image reception layer 103 which carries information and/or an image and at least a layer 104 containing an ultraviolet absorber is provided between the base and the image reception layer 103. In addition, at least the layer 104 containing the ultraviolet absorber and a cushion layer 105 are provided between the base and the image reception layer 103.
