PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system and a spanning tree configuration method in which a probability of congestion occurrence is reduced, and frequency of occurrence of arrival delay or omission of a frame caused by congestion is decreased.;SOLUTION: While operating a tree before a change, a node comprising a spanning tree on a network where a plurality of nodes are connected generates a tree after a cost change by using another VLAN and a tree to be utilized for transfer is switched after the novel tree is stabilized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
