PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support method and design support system of base-isolated structure capable of reducing the labor, time and cost for designing a draft of a desired base-isolated structure.;SOLUTION: This design support system 1 comprises a computer 8 having a design program 5 for designing a bridge on the basis of inputted condition data of the bridge, checking whether the designed bridge satisfies a design basis or not, and calculating the performance and dimensional data required in a laminated rubber in order that the bridge satisfies the design basis on the basis of the checking result, and a transmitting means 7 for forming data including the performance and dimensional data calculated by the design program 5 and transmitting the formed data to a computer 10 through the Internet 6; the computer of a supplier C who forms the draft of the laminated rubber on the basis of the data transmitted from the computer; and a transmitting means 11 for transmitting the formed draft to a designer B.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
