PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for delivering contents in which utilization of the contents can be prompted to users by correcting the sense of unfairness among users in the utilization of contents.;SOLUTION: In the method for delivering a content where contents encrypted by a content key, the content key encrypted by a delivery key, and a secure package storing content information are delivered to terminals via a network, a decrypt key (=decrypt delivery key) of a previously encrypted content is distributed by a secret distributing method to L distribute decrypt delivery keys. A hash value, being obtained from contents utilized by a user, is employed as an arbitrary distributed decrypt delivery key among those distributed by the secret distributing method. Remaining distributed decrypt delivery keys are obtained, using the arbitrary distribute decrypt delivery key and employed as a distribute decrypt delivery key for a content different from that utilized by the user.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
