ANTI-ITCHING COMPOSITION CONTAINING CAPSAICINOID SUBSTANCE AND USE OF CAPSAICINOID SUBSTANCE AS ANTI-ITCHING AGENT

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsaicine analogue effective to acute/chronical itching of systemic and local nature without exerting hot taste or fiery feeling on a patient at the time of administration. PSOLUTION: The anti-itching composition contains a capsaicinoid substance expressed by formula (1) or formula (2). The capsaicinoid substance has strong anti-itching effect and mitigates severe fiery feeling at the time of administration because its pungency and invasivity are very weak, thereby provides an excellent anti-itching composition. In particular, as the capsaicinoid substance has less toxicity compared with capsaicine, it can be utilized as an additive for functional food or feed to afford anti-itching action or as an effective ingredient of a medicament for peroral/local administration.
