PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alcohol concentration detection device small in size, installable anywhere and having the degree of freedom of design, well insulated across terminals to eliminate affection by moisture, capable of being shielded so as not to be affected by electromagnetic wave from the skeleton of a car or the like, and capable of accurately measuring alcohol concentration, an alcohol concentration detection method using the device, and a manufacturing method for an alcohol concentration detection sensor.;SOLUTION: In this alcohol concentration detection device, an inspected liquid is led between the electrodes of the alcohol concentration detection sensor to measure a variation in the relative dielectric constant of the inspected liquid across the electrodes with an oscillated frequency so as to detect the concentration of alcohol in the inspected liquid. The alcohol concentration detection sensor comprises an alcohol concentration detection sensor body having a base material resin film, an electrode wiring pattern formed on the base material resin film, and insulation resin covering the surface of the electrode wiring pattern.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
