PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assaying the activity of a drug-metabolizing enzyme important in a drug metabolic reaction in an organism, especially various variant cytochrome P450 enzymes, and a method for evaluating activity inhibitory effect of a chemical substance on the drug-metabolizing enzyme, especially on various variant cytochrome P450 enzymes, and to obtain a composition for the methods.;SOLUTION: Activities of various variant drug-metabolizing enzymes and activity inhibitory effect of a chemical substance on the various variant drug-metabolizing enzymes are rapidly and simply evaluated without using an isotope and an effective analysis by reacting a compound to become a substrate of a drug-metabolizing enzyme with a wild type or various variant drug-metabolizing enzymes together with necessary cofactors, or the like, in a first reaction and competitively assaying a formed product by an immunochemical assay method using a product-specific antibody in a second reaction.
