PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new extracellular matrix protein, in particular expressing in the retina, to provide a gene encoding the same, and also to provide an antibody or the like to the same. PSOLUTION: The protein is a mouse-derived new extracellular matrix factor comprising a specific amino acid sequence and/or an extracellular matrix protein comprising an amino acid sequence where one or more amino acids are substituted, deleted, inserted and/or added in the above-amino acid sequence.
