PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an XPath processing method, an XPath processing device, an XPath processing program and a storage medium storing the program, capable of effectively activating a memory space in the addition of XPath.;SOLUTION: This XPath processing method for processing XPath by using automaton, comprises a step (S12) for creating NFA from each XPath, a step (S13) for creating combined NFA by integrating the created NFA, a step for creating SAX event from the inputted XML data, and a step (S18...) for creating the determinacy automaton by using the combined NFA in accordance with the created SAX event.
