PURPOSE: To set pushing pressure of a knocking part low in accordance with ordinary use and to improve durability to knocking operation in a tail end knocking structure of a liq. applying tool such as a writing tool and a make-up tool. ;CONSTITUTION: In a writing tool provided with a shaft cylinder 1 storing an ink inside, the ink is made to flow out from the apex of a pen by opening a valve provided inside by knocking a knocking part 27 provided on the tail end shaft 26 in the axial direction. The knocking part 27 has an elastic body 28 which closes the tail end shaft 26 and is returnably deformed when knocking is operated. A projected part 26a with an approximately T-shaped crosssection which projects inward from the inner peripheral face and additionally bent toward both sides in the axial direction is integrally molded out of a synthetic resin material over the whole periphery. The elastic body 28 is molded out of an elastic material after the projected part 26a is molded in such a way that the projected part 26a is supported by the outer peripheral edge part 31 under tightly contacting condition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
