PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral cell notification apparatus capable of more efficiently notifying the mobile stations about the peripheral cell information within a notice/monitoring available range in the case of notifying the mobile stations in communication about the peripheral cell information using a plurality of cells.;SOLUTION: The peripheral cell notification apparatus 11 includes: a cell information extract section 112 for extracting the peripheral cell information to specify the peripheral cells respectively corresponding to cells A201 and B301; a cell sequence determination section 114 for prioritizing the peripheral cell information related to the peripheral cells in common to the cells A201 and B301 to determine ranking of the peripheral cell information to be notified to the mobile station 30; and a cell information notification section 115 for notifying the mobile station 30 about the prescribed number of the peripheral cell information in the peripheral cell information on the basis of the determined ranking.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
