PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convergence measurement device for a color cathode-ray tube, that can accurately measure the convergence and adjust it, and to provide its method.;SOLUTION: A pattern generator 12 generates an inspection pattern on a screen of a color cathode-ray tube with constant red(R), green(G) and blue(B) luminance (S10), after a color CCD camera 14 picks up the displayed inspection pattern (S20), a control section 18 allows the pattern generator 12 for adjusting the strength of the red(R), green(G) and blue(B) signals of each pattern (S50) so as to uniformize the luminance in the red (R), green(G) and blue(B) colors in all the inspection patterns displayed on the screen of the cathode ray tube.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
