PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject method and apparatus for accurately controlling the supply amount of the paste by adjusting the gap between a paste roll and a doctor roll so as to make the amount of the paste, which is transferred to the flute tip parts of a corrugating medium corrugated by a single facer by the paste roll of a pasting apparatus, proper to adjust the transfer amount of paste. ;SOLUTION: The difference between collected amounts of paste by first and second collecting means 8a, 8b collecting paste at a position where the paste is not transferred to the flute tip parts of the corrugating medium (a) on the peripheral surface of a paste roll and a position where the paste is transferred thereto is compared with a proper amount and the gap between the paste roll 6 and a doctor roll 7 is adjusted corresponding to the magnitude of the difference to make the transfer amount of the paste proper.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
