The present invention provides (Pichia) strain genetically engineered Pichia genus capable of producing a protein that glycosylation is reduced. In particular, genetically engineered strains of the present invention can be any of the glucosidase II and α-1,2- mannosidase or expressing both. It can be further modified to destroy the OCH1 gene, genetic manipulation strains of the present invention.
